DAYS 1-2: VIENTIANE
On arrival in Vientiane, transfer to your hotel. The country’s charming capital is full of alluring monuments with a laid-back riverside ambience. Receive a unique welcome in a traditional Lao Baci ceremony in a local home and explore the city’s most famous landmarks, Wat Pha That Luang and Wat Sisaket. Discover the art of Lao silk weaving during your visit to a fair trade weaving workshop.

DAYS 3-6: LUANG PRABANG & PAK OU CAVES
A short flight brings you to the fabled riverside town of Luang Prabang. Gain an insight into the culture of the delightful local people as you enter ornate monasteries, wander the interesting Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre, and spend some time chatting with monks. A lovely boat trip to Pak Ou Caves unveils innumerable Buddha sculptures spanning many centuries. Sharpen your culinary skills in a fun Lao cooking class and behold the beautiful Kuang Si Falls. Rise early to witness the breathtaking ancient ritual of local monks collecting alms at dawn, and soak up the town’s relaxed atmosphere with a game of petanque. In the evening, be sure to visit the night craft market. On your last day, enjoy free time until your departure transfer.
