Indochina Explorer - 19 days

What our clients say...

Dear Jun,

We had a really great holiday. It was really interesting to see and learn about the history and culture of these beautiful countries. We also appreciated the efforts of our tour leader, Frank. He was very friendly, helpful, informative and professional in the way he treated us all and made our tour that much more pleasant.

The only comment I would like to make is that we were quite tired at the end of the trip and would have liked a couple of extra free days included in the itinerary, however I appreciate that it was our choice to see as much as we could in the allocated time frame.

Over all we were very happy with the whole trip, with the exception of the accommodation in Hoi An, which we found to be quite noisy and the staff not so friendly as other locations. We would also liked to have had more time in Luang Prabang.

Dear Georgina,

I had a marvellous holiday, one that will be remembered for a long time. It was extremely well organised every day by our tour leader Ian Richards. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and he ensured that everyone had an enjoyable time. All three countries are delightful and Laos in particular I thought was beautiful. Highlights of the trip would include the Angkor temples, the Cu-Chi tunnels, cruising down the Mekong and the waterfalls in Luang Prabang. Each day brought something special. Even crossing the road in Saigon and Hanoi were experiences, though not perhaps enjoyable ones!

Ian organised a restaurant for dinner every evening and this helped everyone in the group to get to know each other so that by the end of the trip we were all good friends.

Thank you for all your help in arranging the holiday. I have long wanted to visit this part of the world and my expectations fell far short of the reality. Of course this is largely due to the efficient organisation and Ian's hard work.

Dear Travel Indochina

Please could you pass this on to your "top" people. I do apologize for taking nearly a month to write and thank all for making our Cambodia/Vietnam/Laos holiday such a wonderful experience.

From the moment we made contact with the company until the day we returned we were seriously impressed with the organisation, attention to detail, planning and organisation that is put in to make the holiday seem effortless. I know behind the scenes so much work is put in. From Liz in the UK office who was our initial contact and advisor and Michelle our visa lady - thanks.

I would particularly like to thank Brett Taylor our guide in Cambodia and Vietnam. Nothing was too much trouble for him. What a people person he is.  Whether it was organising our day or recommending shops, restaurants or bars etc it was a delight to share our holiday with him. He would explain local culture, teach us a few local words, take our photos or get us across the road in Hanoi. What ever the situation he dealt with it with such good grace and great humor. What an asset he is to your company.I have already recommended Travelindochina to colleagues at work.

Once again many, many thanks.
