Holidays to Cambodia

The temples of Angkor are, without a doubt, one of the most mesmerising sights in Southeast Asia. But there is so much more to Cambodia than Angkor Wat, and Travel Indochina is looking forward to showing you some of the unexpected delights of this inspiring destination.

Of course we will show you the awesome spires of Angkor Wat and the enchanting faces of the Bayon. We will introduce you to the mystery and wonder of some of the outerlying temples, and jungle-covered Ta Prohm. But we will also take you to palm-fringed beaches, picturesque rural landscapes and one of the most charming capital cities in Asia – Phnom Penh. Having emerged from decades of civil war and general unrest, the Khmer people are incredibly welcoming and will be a highlight of your stay.

An interesting country with a fascinating history. Entering a little-used gate for Angkor Wat great as we walked through a forest in the early morning light. Particularly enjoyed Beang Mealea and Bantreay Srei temples, the first because of the recent history and the second because of its size and the beautiful limestone carvings - exquisite.

Ton Le Sap Lake disappointing but had to be experienced - I was expecting more.

Variety of activities- I like having lots to see and do instead of lazing on a beach.
The breakfast boxes from the hotel for consuming at Ankwar Wat were dry pastries. I only ate the boiled egg and two other people's boiled eggs. One couple ordered food out there.
The food at the Cambodian Dancing and dinner in Siem Reap. Food on plate got cold while waiting in queues to get other food. Quality of food not the best. The show was rather ordinary-lack of variety in it. There is a show in Pnomh Penh that might be better.

Another land of contrast. Angkor Wat was incredible. Very busy but our guide knew the best ways to visit such an attraction. Attention to detail was great.
